Position: Behaviour Interventionist (BI)
Location:  Lower Mainland

We are currently seeking Behaviour Interventionists to join our team and support children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a Behaviour Interventionist, you will work directly with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing individualized programs designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Programs focus on developing communication, play, social, academic, and daily living skills through evidence-based strategies.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are eager to learn, and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of autism and behaviour intervention.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behaviour intervention programs developed by a BCBA

• Collect accurate data during sessions and follow written program plans

• Use positive, play-based, and child-centred teaching strategies

• Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA and team members

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older

• Able to obtain and provide a clear Criminal Record Check

• Access to reliable transportation

• Able to commit to the position for a minimum of one year

• Experience working with children (an asset not required) or a genuine interest in working with children

• No prior experience required — comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided

• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Reliable, patient, and open to feedback and learning

• Basic computing skills
