Position: Behaviour Interventionist (BI)
Location: Lower Mainland
We are currently seeking Behaviour Interventionists to join our team and support children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
As a Behaviour Interventionist, you will work directly with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing individualized programs designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Programs focus on developing communication, play, social, academic, and daily living skills through evidence-based strategies.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are eager to learn, and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of autism and behaviour intervention.
Implement individualized behaviour intervention programs developed by a BCBA
Collect accurate data during sessions and follow written program plans
Use positive, play-based, and child-centred teaching strategies
Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA and team members
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
Must be 19 years of age or older
Able to obtain and provide a clear Criminal Record Check
Access to reliable transportation
Able to commit to the position for a minimum of one year
Experience working with children (an asset not required) or a genuine interest in working with children
No prior experience required — comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Reliable, patient, and open to feedback and learning
Basic computing skills
